Dolphin Tale 2 — In the sequel to the 2011 family film, the marine hospital that cares for Winter the dolphin faces the possibility of losing the mammal to another aquarium. Harry Connick, Jr., Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd and Kris Kristofferson star. Rated PG.
No Good Deed — Taraji P. Henson is a wife and mother terrorized by an escaped convict, played by Idris Elba, who shows up at her doorstep. Rated PG-13.

The Drop — The drama marks the late James Gandolfini’s final film. He plays the employer and cousin of Tom Hardy’s Bob, a bartender entangled in a robbery gone awry. Noomi Rapace also stars in the film, which was written by Mystic River, Shutter Island and Gone, Baby, Gone author Dennis Lehane. Rated R.
